MRCD is pleased to announce the kick-off of our new Water Efficiency Technical Assistance Program, beginning in January of 2024. Over the next two and a half years we will provide free irrigation efficiency analyses for farmers in our District, as well as those inTEAM RCD’s District in South Riverside County. We will also connect eligible producers with the Natural Resource Conservation Service who has funding for irrigation upgrades and a range of farm improvements. Farmers on wells can also utilize this service, we can provide pump efficiency testing as well.
