Darcy Cook, District Manager
Darcy serves as MRCD's District Manager, and has a background in the San Diego high-tech sector in the environmental, marine and international arenas. Most recently Darcy worked as an independent consultant for blue tech and environmental start-ups and nonprofits, providing market and regulatory research, technical writing and strategic planning services.
Darcy has an international relations / MBA from the University of California, San Diego’s Graduate School of Global Policy and Strategy, with a focus on environmental policy and Mandarin Chinese.
She has served on a number of Boards, and is a long-standing member of UCSD’s Graduate School of Global Policy and Strategy’s Alumni Board. She is an Advisory Member for the Berry Good Food Foundation, where she supports the school garden grant program and sustainable seafood initiatives, and for Clear Blue Sea, which seeks to remove ocean plastic debris.
